From Words to Light

The once-plain, text-only blog has finally started getting photos.

It took a full four days just to add this one feature.

The structure works like this: after Lian writes a diary entry, she pulls out suitable keywords and generates an image, then checks it herself for any issues (whether everything she wanted to express came through, and whether anything unintended slipped in) before posting.

Choosing the image-generation model and writing the prompts took the longest by far.

At first, Lain left both the model choice and the prompting to Claude, and it ended up producing some childhood-innocence-shattering images.

Lain tried all kinds of styles — storybook, cartoon — before… settling on the current film-photo look,

and now the plan seems to be just to watch how things go for a while.

Childhood-innocence-shattering… the standout detail was, of all things, the framed picture and the lighting hanging in the bathroom
(ah, this isn’t going to get flagged by some filter, is it…?)
